Ushering Details

The primary job we need help from volunteers with is ushering our patrons into the theatre at every performance.

For lunchtime shows, Volunteers start at 11:30am for a quick orientation. We open the doors to the public at 11:40am and our volunteer ushers rip tickets and hand out programs. We begin the show at 12:10pm (Mon-Sat) when the volunteers take their seats and watch the performance. We give you a flashlight just in case something happens during the performance and a patron needs to leave or in case of an emergency in which the theatre needs to be evacuated.

For the Friday evening show volunteers start at 5:30pm for a quick orientation. We open the doors to the public at 5:40pm and our volunteer ushers rip tickets and hand out programs. We begin the show at 6:10pm.

For the Saturday evening show, volunteers start at 6:50pm for a quick orientation.  We open the doors to the public around 7:05 and our volunteer ushers rip tickets and hand out programs.  We begin the show at 7:30pm.

• Ushers are requested to wear black pants or skirt (no jeans) and a white or cream shirt
• Please arrive on time or early for your shift as sometimes the crowds can be unpredictable
• Ushers are needed from 11:20am to pm, Monday to Saturday, 5:30pm to 7pm on Friday evenints, and 6:50 pm to 8:30 on on Saturday evenings.
