The New Theatre

In the Fall of 2008 Lunchbox Theatre relocated to their fourth theatre – the first outside Bow Valley Square.

The new Lunchbox Theatre, designed by Bathory Associates Architecture + Design of Calgary and Proscenium Architecture + Interiors Inc. of Vancouver, is located at the base of the Calgary Tower and seats up to 150 patrons in different seating configurations, depending on the size of the stage.

The new theatre is accessible from both 9 Avenue and the interior of Tower Centre. It houses the TransCanada Stage, a gallery on 9th Avenue, and the Lunchbox Theatre Box Office; along with a green room, two dressing rooms, production offices and storage facilities.
