WINTER STAGE ONE-DERLAND SHOWCASE
November 22, 2026, 7pm
The Winter Stage One-Derland Playwrights Unit is a new initiative from Lunchbox
Theatre for artists who are developing one-act plays centred around the winter holidays.
From March 2026 to November 2026, the playwrights in the unit have been meeting regularly to share their work and build community in their creative processes. They have been working hard on their scripts all year and now are ready to share a sneak preview with the public!
We are thrilled to present a staged reading of a ten minute excerpt from each play developed in the unit. Performed by an all star ensemble of local artists, and directed by other members within the unit, The Winter Stage One-Derland Showcase is sure to be the perfect kick off to the Holiday season.
From heart warming romantic comedies to hilarious romps through magical snowy landscapes the Winter Stage Onederland Playwrights Unit is thrilled to get to share their work with the public for the first time! This reading is free to attend but spaces are limited. Please be sure to register in advance to reserve your seat!
