Beyond the Sea

by Kristen Da Silva

October 14 - November 2, 2025

An empathetic romantic comedy about moving forward.

On a pier in a small town, two strangers who need a second chance begin a conversation that just might save them both. Gwen is a quick-witted loner selling tickets for a boat tour. Theo is a newly single man waiting for a long overdue date. As their conversation deepens, they explore love and loss, opening up to one another. Funny and hopeful, Beyond the Sea shows us that, sometimes, the most honest conversations are between strangers.

Ridge

by Brendan McLeod & performed by The Fugitives

November 5 – November 16, 2025

A Remembrance Day tribute with music from renowned Canadian band The Fugitives.

Mixing stories from the frontlines with live music, Ridge brings one of the deadliest battles of the First World War to life in a new, visceral way. Calgarian Brendan McLeod explores the misconceptions and various perspectives surrounding the battle of Vimy Ridge, tying it to other formative events in our nation’s past and asking difficult yet necessary questions about how and why we grieve. In addition to original music by The Fugitives, the show features inventive musical interpretations of soldier songs from the war and provides a personal, intimate examination of our connection to the past.

How Patty and Joanne Won High Gold at the Grand Christmas Cup Winter Dance Competition

By Trevor Schmidt

November 25 – December 21, 2025

A heartwarming holiday comedy – with tap dancing!

Patty and Joanne’s Adult Beginner Tap Class has dwindled in attendance and the instructor has quit, just in time for the Grand Christmas Cup Winter Dance Competition. Nevertheless, the two unlikely friends decide to band together and face the judges alone for a shot at High Gold. Patty, a harried mother with a pessimistic outlook, and Joanne, a cheerful woman with a perpetual abundance of spirit, push their limitations while rediscovering their holiday spirit in this hilarious buddy comedy.

Ribstone

written and performed by Christopher Hunt

January 21 – 25, 2026

An intimate storytelling performance from one of Calgary’s best loved entertainers.

Memory, music, and family lore come together as Christopher Hunt, banjo in hand, weaves tales of ranching roots, lost traditions, and southern Alberta’s untold stories. With old-time folksiness, old-time music, and old-time humour, Christopher retells his family history with modern eyes, stopping to spin a yarn or two along the way. From a butcher shop in Calgary to a long-vanished Blackfoot sacred site, Ribstone asks: What do we inherit? What do we forget? And what stories are ours to tell?

Thank You for Your Order by Jessica Moss

March 17 – April 4, 2026

A hilarious comedy that questions what we mean by “fulfillment.”

Zara and Matty’s relationship is tested when a package addressed to Matty from A Large Corporation That Will Remain Nameless arrives at their doorstep. Inside is Jocelyn, a worker at the fulfillment center who has fallen in love with Matty based on his order. A love triangle develops and things begin to unravel as more and more boxes arrive, bearing products that promise a better life—much to Zara’s dismay and Matty’s delight. Thank You For Your Order pokes fun at modern consumerist culture, asking whether the things we buy are a reflection of us, or we of them.
