RIBSTONE
Written and performed by Christopher Hunt
January 21 – 25, 2026
An intimate storytelling performance from one of Calgary’s best loved entertainers.
Memory, music, and family lore come together as Christopher Hunt, banjo in hand, weaves tales of ranching roots, lost traditions, and southern Alberta’s untold stories. With old-time folksiness, old-time music, and old-time humour, Christopher retells his family history with modern eyes, stopping to spin a yarn or two along the way. From a butcher shop in Calgary to a long-vanished Blackfoot sacred site, Ribstone asks: What do we inherit? What do we forget? And what stories are ours to tell?
